Happy Holidays to all our friends and family.

The year 2001 was all about horses for Lorrie.

Lorrie is pictured here with her great friend Laura Kochan and their two horses Trucker and Chippie on Laura's ranch.

Nov 2001. Our dream mountain home came true this year. It took over 18 months to complete and ran way over budget, but the finished product is spectacular.

We will try to rent it out to help pay the mortgage. For more photos, check out the website dedicated to this property below:

Inside our mountain home, this is the view from the dining table. That is a "14'er" seen though the window which is a mountain that is over 14,000 feet high. Colorado has 53 fourteeners.

July 2001

Nate at a mountain lake in the San Juan mountains. Near Creede Colorado.

We fished this crystal clear lake for a couple hours, but did not catch a thing. Our friends did catch 3 trout.

Al proudly shows off "The Grill" during our week long camping trip to Creede and the San Juan mountains. Note the freshly caught mountain trout wrapped in fold. Yummy.

Mid July.

This photo is of a mountain formation typical of the area near Creede, CO. This photo shows a great camping spot in the foregound that we will visit next year!

Mid July.

A jeep trail near Creede, CO just north of the Rio Grande River headwaters.

Al and his friend Mark Kochan rode their dirt bikes for 40 miles this day, including a trip above tree line to a glacial lake. The scenery was fantastic.
